Data we use

Google sign-in requests basic identity through openid email profile: Google account ID, name, verified email address, and profile photo. Discord sign-in uses ID, name, verified email when available, avatar, and FundedCamp membership to check access. These identities create your account, display your profile, link sign-in methods you choose, and keep user journals separate.

FundedOS stores data you enter, including trading accounts, trades, notes, screenshots, payouts, expenses, and settings. Google or Discord passwords are not sent to FundedOS. Google access is used for sign-in, not to read Gmail messages.

Storage and use

Accounts and journals are stored on an Oracle Cloud VPS in Singapore. Encrypted backup copies are also stored on an operator-managed PC for recovery. Journals are not public; application access is limited to the signed-in account. HTTPS protects data in transit. The operator manages infrastructure for support, recovery, and security.

FundedOS does not sell identity or journal data. Google and Discord process sign-in under their own policies; profile photos and fonts may load from their services. Price-chart requests are relayed to Yahoo Finance with the requested symbol and time range, without journal data. Technical logs may include request times, status, and connection information for operations and security.

News reminders

The news calendar retrieves public schedules from BLS, BEA, the Federal Reserve, and the ECB through the server, without sending journal data to those sources. Reminder preferences are stored in your account. News alert history is kept for up to 30 days after release time. The browser stores displayed alert IDs to prevent repeated notifications. Browser notifications require your permission and work while the app is open; event titles and schedules may appear on the device screen.

Language and IP location

To choose the initial language, the server compares the connection IP with DB-IP country data stored locally. Indonesian IPs use Indonesian; other countries or unknown locations use English. IPs are not sent to an external geolocation service. Manual language preferences are stored in the browser and the fos_lang cookie, and take priority over IP detection. IP location may differ from your location, for example when using a VPN.

Retention and your controls

Journal data is retained while the account is in use. You can edit or delete records and export through Data & Backup. To request account deletion, email us from a linked address; identity will be checked first. Backups may retain data until rotation replaces them: up to seven recent VPS snapshots and fourteen verified PC copies. Rotation counts copies, not days; PC downloads require the PC to be on and online.

You can revoke Google or Discord sign-in permissions in their account settings. Revoking permission does not delete stored journals; request account deletion separately if needed.

Changes

Policy changes will appear on this page. If use of login data changes, users will be notified and asked for consent before their data is used for a new purpose.
